Nature Preserved
Imagine a peaceful place, unchanged by time and magnificent in every season. Imagine trails ablaze in the spring with the blossoms of dogwood, redbud, rhododendron and flame azalea…babbling mountain streams framed by wildflowers…a wetland alive with beaver, mink, fox and waterfowl…firefly displays on summer evenings that are only outshined by the spectacular starry sky…majestic bald eagles soaring overhead on a crisp autumn morning…deer drinking from the river as snow falls all around. This is Meadow Lane Farm.
Meadow Lane Farm has been owned by the Hirsh family for five generations and our dedication to the preservation of this land has led us to obtain a conservation easement through the Virginia Outdoors Foundation to ensure that the farm remains an unspoiled place of beauty in perpetuity.
