Reservations and General Information

We choose not to have an on-line booking system.   There is a "Contact Us" page on our website. Please fill out the information, including your choice of accommodation, date choice and a daytime telephone number.  We prefer to receive emails however you are welcome to call us, preferably on the office number, leaving us a voice mail message if we are unavailable.  When we have all the required information, including a credit card, your reservation with us will be confirmed by email. We do not “hold” rooms or cottages. Unless you have an email from us with a confirmation number you do not have a reservation.

Guests staying in The Lodge & Swiggle should proceed directly to their room. Room keys are in the doors. Guests who have reserved a cottage must stop at the Check-In Shed located on the left side of our driveway. There you will find your check-in packet. Included in the packet are directions to your cottage. Cottage keys are in the front door of each cottage. Check-in time for all accommodations is 3:00 PM & Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Room cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to your arrival date or the credit card on file will be charged for 1 night @ the 1 night rate for your reserved room or rooms.

Cottage cancellations must be received 10 days prior to your arrival date or the credit card on file will be charged 50% of the amount of the reserved stay.

Guests are welcome to come onto Meadow Lane property after 12 noon with the understanding that your accommodation may not be ready until 3 pm. Cottage guests please do not go to your cottage with the intention of just unloading a few things. Come to the office and we will let you know when we expect the cottage to be finished.

Guests are responsible for payment for the entire length of the reserved stay.

All children are welcome in our cottages however children must be at least 8 years of age to stay at the Lodge.

The credit card on file will be pre-approved upon your date of arrival and processed for payment on your departure date.  We accept all major credit cards.

Only River House and The Granary are pet friendly (2 dogs maximum).  No pets are permitted in any other cottage or at the Lodge.  Rover must stay on the west side of the Jackson River which is the same side as River House and The Granary.  The fee is $60/dog, non-refundable.

We encourage you to bring your horse or horses.  Our stalls are double-wide and beautiful.  The fee is $25/horse/night.

Smoking is prohibited in all buildings on Meadow Lane, including the Reading Room, barns, deck, and pool area.   Smoking is also prohibited on the upstairs porch of the Lodge.  Cigarette butts do not biodegrade; please do not throw them on the ground.

Bathing suits, binoculars, bug spray, camera, charcoal, lighter fluid, matches (for the cottage grills and the grill at the Lodge), fly fishing gear, hiking boots or shoes, jacket or sweater for our cool summer evenings, mountain bikes & helmets, river towels, river shoes, inner tubes (the canoe is on longer here), tennis shoes, tennis equipment, sunscreen and most importantly if you have allergies or are allergic to bee stings, grass, hay, etc., remember to bring appropriate medications.

We suggest you request a late check out as quickly as possible. If we can agree to it, the check-out time will be extended from 11 am to 6 pm; the cost is $100. The check-out fee is non-refundable and will be immediately charged to the credit card on file.
