Activities at Meadow Lane Farm

There is no typical day at Meadow Lane, as a day on the farm can be as active or as relaxed as you wish. Two and one-half private miles of the highly-acclaimed Jackson River, stocked with hard fighting rainbow trout, wind through the heart of the estate awaiting the fishing guest. The farm is honeycombed with over twelve miles of hiking and mountain biking trails (bring your own bike) guiding you through shady forests, to breathtaking vistas, past blackberry patches and through wildflower-filled meadows. Another way to enjoy your day is in the swimming pool, playing tennis or croquet, tubing on the river, visiting the barnyard menagerie of horses, goats, guinea hens, chickens, ducks, donkeys and the occasional rescued "pet" deer or taking a quiet moment on "The Deck" which over looks The Sough Wildlife Sanctuary. A home for birds, eagles, ducks, fish, turtles, deer and the occasional bear, it is an awesome place which was generously restored for us by the Mennen Environmental Foundation in 2007. For the early riser or the evening stroll with a glass of wine, The Deck is wonderful.
