1860 House
Located in the heart of Meadow Lane and formerly a Hirsh family residence, The 1860 House is a charming and romantic venue for parties, weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats and other special events. Beautifully restored in 2009, the historic farmhouse features:
- a full kitchen to accommodate large-scale, catered events
- adjoining dining room and parlor allowing for a variety of
cocktail and dining arrangements, and - The Bride’s Room, a sitting room with adjoining bath—perfect
for a bride and her attendants as they prepare for that most
special of moments.
The original flooring and fireplaces are showcased throughout the house and The Bride’s Room is tastefully paneled with wood reclaimed from the original Dinwiddie mansion built by AndrewWarwick in 1810.!
The 1860 House is steps away from the swimming pool and tennis court, and the natural beauty of the surrounding acreage allows for both indoor and outdoor events. Adjoining Lodge and Cottages can accommodate over 35 of your overnight guests.
